Fifty million dollars in a single bra… and it wasn't worn by a model.
On October 18, at the Victoria's Secret show in Los Angeles, Kylie Jenner appeared unannounced. She was wearing the Fantasy Bra, the show's most famous piece of jewelry.
The jewel
It has 4,410 natural diamonds, totaling more than 1,373 carats. And at its center, a 75-carat yellow diamond, considered the heart of the piece.
It was made by jeweler Jacob & Co.: fifteen artisans worked more than a thousand hours to assemble it from some 3,200 pieces. It's billed as the most expensive Fantasy Bra in history.

A tradition that came back
The Fantasy Bra tradition began in 1996, with a one-million-dollar bra. But since 2018 no Fantasy Bra had returned to the runway.

And the comeback wasn't for one of the brand's models: Kylie is the first outsider to wear it. Even her shoes were transparent: she looked like she was walking barefoot.
What will happen to it
The appearance drew criticism from some fans. According to the U.S. press, the piece will go back to the Jacob & Co. store in New York, where it will be offered for private sale.
