At Detrás de la marca we respect your privacy. This is an informational site: there are no user accounts, no forms, and we don't ask for personal data.

What data is collected

  • Basic technical data. As on almost any website, the service hosting the site may store technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for it to work and for security.
  • Google Fonts. The site's fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers.
  • Visit counter. We use GoatCounter to know how many times each article is read. It doesn't use cookies or store data that identifies you; it only counts visits anonymously.
  • Instagram posts. Some articles show embedded official Instagram posts. When you view them, your browser connects to Instagram (Meta), which may use its own cookies according to its privacy policy.
  • Share buttons. The WhatsApp, Facebook, X and Telegram buttons are simple links: they send nothing to those networks until you click them.
  • If you write to us. If you send us a message, we will use your data only to reply.

Advertising and cookies

This site may show Google AdSense ads. Google and its partners use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites.

If you live in Europe or anywhere else where the law requires it, we will ask for your consent before using advertising cookies.

Links to other sites

Articles link to YouTube, Wikipedia, Wikimedia Commons and other sources. Those sites have their own privacy policies.

Your rights

You can ask us what data we hold about you (normally just your contact details, if you wrote to us) and ask us to delete it, by sending us a direct message on Instagram (@explicandoconia) or TikTok (@detrasdelamarca_ia).
